Browser script execution via unvalidated stored parameters
Published Sep 30, 2024 · Updated Sep 30, 2024
Stored XSS in PLANET GS-4210 switch user management allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript through crafted parameters. The web application stores specific administrator-supplied parameters without adequate validation; public advisories do not identify their names or rendering path. Administrator privileges are required to plant the payload, and a separate user's interaction is required; execution can read or alter data in that user's web session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
