Full device control via unauthenticated transfer routes
Published Sep 30, 2024 · Updated Sep 30, 2024
Missing authentication in PLANET Technology GS-4210 switch firmware allows remote attackers to upload or download firmware and configurations. Multiple HTTP routes expose firmware and configuration transfer functions without checking for an authenticated session. Network access to the web management interface is sufficient to read configuration data or replace firmware, granting full control of the switch.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
