Authenticated SQL injection via unfiltered ticket ID
Published Sep 4, 2024 · Updated Sep 4, 2024
SQL injection in Food Ordering Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute unintended SQL through a crafted ticket ID. The add-ticket.php route passes the id parameter into a MySQL query without validation or neutralization, so injected SQL syntax becomes query logic. A customer login is required; the database account's privileges bound the resulting ability to read or modify data and disrupt database-backed operations.
