Authenticated file disclosure via image path traversal
Published Sep 4, 2024 · Updated Sep 4, 2024
Path traversal in ABCD Community ABCD 2.2.0-beta-1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read files from the server. The common/show_image.php endpoint accepts an image value containing repeated ../ sequences, allowing resolution outside the intended image directory. Low-privileged access is required under the CNA assessment, and the documented consequence is disclosure of readable local files rather than modification or service interruption.
