Unauthenticated administrator access via interpolated login inputs
Published Sep 5, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2025
SQL injection in FlyCASS Cockpit Access Security System before May 7, 2024 allows remote attackers to gain administrator access. The login handler directly interpolates the submitted username and password into a MySQL authentication query, so crafted Boolean conditions replace the intended credential checks. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation permits unauthorized creation or modification of crew records used for CASS eligibility.
