Authenticated SQL injection via discount direction
Published Sep 30, 2024 · Updated Oct 1, 2024
SQL injection in StylemixThemes Cost Calculator Builder before 3.2.29 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries. The calc_edit_calc AJAX action inserts the discount[direction] value into an SQL statement without sufficient sanitization or escaping. Administrator access and a valid edit-calculator nonce are required; the published proof of concept forces a ten-second database delay.
