Cross-site scripting in 10up Safe SVG before 2.2.6 allows remote authenticated users to store malicious SVGs through raw media uploads. The plugin registers its SVG sanitizer only on wp_handle_upload, leaving wp_handle_sideload requests from the REST media endpoint to save script-bearing SVG content unchanged. Author-level access is required, and a victim who opens the uploaded file can execute attacker-controlled script in the site's origin.
