Authenticated SQL injection via concatenated category ID
Published Aug 30, 2024 · Updated Sep 3, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Computer Laboratory Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries. The delete_category function in /classes/Master.php inserts the POST id value directly into a DELETE query without filtering. A valid session is required; the public proof of concept demonstrates a six-second time-based database response, not data extraction.
