Authenticated SQL injection via unfiltered delete_record id
Published Aug 30, 2024 · Updated Sep 3, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Computer Laboratory Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL via a crafted id. The delete_record function in classes/Master.php imports POST fields with extract(), then concatenates id into an SQL statement without filtering or parameterization. A valid application session reaches the endpoint, and the published proof demonstrates attacker-controlled time-delayed database execution.
