Database disclosure via unsanitized delete identifier
Published Aug 30, 2024 · Updated Aug 30, 2024
SQL injection in Music Gallery Site 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the Users.php delete action. The delete handler incorporates the POST id value into an SQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax, as demonstrated by an updatexml payload that returns the database name. A valid administrative session is required to reach user management, and the published proof of concept demonstrates database-name disclosure.
