Arbitrary file upload via case-sensitive blacklist bypass
Published Aug 30, 2024 · Updated Aug 30, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in HFO4 shudong-share 2.4.7 allows remote authenticated users to place arbitrary files via fileReceive.php. The handler accepts a mixed-case .Php filename because its secondary blacklist check fails to normalize extension case. An authenticated user able to configure upload extensions can place PHP content that the web server executes when mixed-case PHP extensions are enabled.
