SQL query manipulation via crafted username
Published Aug 30, 2024 · Updated Aug 30, 2024
SQL injection in /resource/runlogon.php in OpenRapid RapidCMS 1.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter SQL queries. The login handler incorporates the username parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, so crafted input changes query logic. Reachability requires low-privileged access under the CNA assessment, and successful injection changes the database query's intended result.
