Code execution via unrestricted RadDiagram type deserialization
Published Sep 25, 2024 · Updated Sep 25, 2024
Insecure deserialization in Telerik UI for WPF before 2024.3.924 allows attackers to execute code through crafted RadDiagram data. The RadDiagram loading path accepted custom element types without requiring registration in an allowed-type or safe-assembly collection before deserializing them. Exploitation requires an application that uses RadDiagram and user interaction that causes attacker-controlled diagram data to be loaded.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
