CVE-2024-8313

Configuration disclosure and modification via guessable SNMP communities

Published Mar 25, 2025 · Updated Mar 25, 2025

Insecure SNMP defaults in B&R APROL 4.4 before 4.4-00P5 allow remote attackers on an adjacent network to read and alter configuration. The SNMP component accepts default or guessable community names as authorization for configuration access. No authentication is required, but adjacent-network reachability is necessary; successful access exposes configuration and permits changes.
