CVE-2024-8299

Local code execution via Phone agent DLL search

Published Nov 28, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

DLL search-path hijacking in five Mitsubishi Electric automation products allows local users to execute code through the Phone agent. The Phone agent searches for and loads a crafted DLL when the required Dialogic driver is absent, causing attacker-controlled code to run.
