Service interruption via undisclosed memory request handling
Published Sep 4, 2024 · Updated Sep 4, 2024
Memory request handling in Huawei HarmonyOS 4.0.0 and 4.2.0 and EMUI 14.0.0 allows attackers to interrupt service via local access. Huawei identifies the locus only as the memory management module and has not published the faulty operation performed on a memory request. Local access is required; public sources do not establish whether exploitation causes a hang, crash, reboot, or another availability failure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
