Authenticated arbitrary file upload via avatar parameter
Published Aug 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in FeehiCMS 2.1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary files via User[avatar]. The insert function at /admin/index.php?r=user%2Fcreate accepts the avatar field without restricting dangerous file types. An authenticated session is required; successful exploitation stores attacker-chosen content on the server.
