FTP credential disclosure via verbose agent logging
Published Oct 9, 2024 · Updated Oct 10, 2024
Information disclosure in Fortra Robot Schedule Enterprise before 3.05 allows local users to read FTP credentials from agent logs. The Enterprise Agent writes the FTP username and password into the execution log when detailed logging is enabled, and copies remain in central spool and physical files. Exposure requires detailed logging; Windows users can read a live job log, while permitted central-system or GUI users can retrieve retained copies.
