Local code execution via enabled Electron debugging fuses
Published Sep 10, 2024 · Updated Sep 10, 2024
Code injection in Logitech Logi Options+ 1.60.496306 and later before 1.70 on macOS allows local users to execute arbitrary code. The packaged Electron binary leaves RunAsNode and EnableNodeCliInspectArguments fuses enabled, so crafted launch flags start a V8 debugging endpoint that accepts injected JavaScript. A logged-in macOS user must relaunch the app with those arguments; injected code runs with the app's permissions and can inherit its TCC-approved access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
