Unauthenticated system-file access via command concatenation
Published Aug 30, 2024 · Updated Aug 30, 2024
OS command injection in Zyxel NWA1100-N firmware 1.00(AACE.1)C0 allows remote attackers to read system files over HTTP. The formSysCmd, formUpgradeCert, and formDelcert handlers concatenate sysCmd, upname, or certs input into commands passed to system(). No authentication or user interaction is required; successful requests execute device-shell commands and can expose files served by the web interface.
