Authenticated database disclosure via injectable category ID
Published Aug 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2024
SQL injection in Online Eyewear Shop Project Music Gallery Site 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read data via a crafted category ID. The delete_category handler in classes/Master.php passes the POST id parameter into a SQL operation without neutralizing injected syntax, as demonstrated with an updatexml() error payload. Access to administrative category management is required, and the demonstrated consequence is database disclosure.
