Database access via unvalidated stafftype parameter
Published Aug 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2024
SQL injection in staffedit.php in itsourcecode.com Tailoring Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to access the database. The endpoint inserts the POST stafftype value directly into a MySQL query without validation or parameter binding, enabling time-based blind injection. A valid session is required; successful exploitation permits database reads or writes and can interrupt the service within the database account’s privileges.
