Script execution via unencoded AGENT ID output
Published Aug 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2024
Cross-site scripting in editClient.php in Insurance Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via AGENT ID. The page writes the client record's agent_id value into the AGENT ID form control without output encoding, turning stored markup into executable page content. An authenticated agent must supply the crafted value, and another user must load the edit page for execution in that user's browser context.
