Uninitialized memory use in the ctl CAM Target Layer allows guest OS users or remote authenticated users to execute code on a host. The ctl_write_buffer and ctl_read_buffer functions allocate buffers returned to userspace without initializing their contents. Reachability requires a bhyve guest with virtio_scsi or an authenticated iSCSI connection; bhyve execution is constrained by the Capsicum sandbox.
