CVE-2024-8155Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Database disclosure via sort-field validation bypass

Published Aug 25, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2024

SQL injection in ContiNew Admin 3.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the department-tree sort parameter. BaseController#tree passes SortQuery into BaseServiceImpl#sort, which validates only the text after the final dot but inserts the entire property into ORDER BY. A user with Department Management access can submit a dotted field whose allowed suffix hides injected SQL; the published proof of concept uses a time delay and reports database retrieval.
