Authenticated SQL injection via concatenated manager identifier
Published Aug 25, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2024
SQL injection in Code Projects Pharmacy Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via the editManager id parameter. The editManager branch in index.php concatenates the id request value into a managerId SQL query without parameterization, allowing UNION SELECT payloads. A signed-in account is required to reach the manager-edit route, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of the database name and table names.
