Reflected XSS via unescaped page parameter
Published Sep 4, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in WP Extended 3.0.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through the page parameter. The Code Snippets module listing reads page from the request and renders it without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Execution requires a user to follow a crafted link, and the injected script runs in that user's browser session.
