Stored XSS via unsanitized width setting
Published Sep 17, 2024 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Stored XSS in Accordion Image Menu 3.1.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject script through a crafted settings request. The settings handler stores the width field from a cross-origin POST without sanitizing it and later outputs the value without escaping. A logged-in administrator must open attacker-controlled HTML; the stored script then runs in a WordPress administrative context.
