Authenticated database disclosure via order ID SQL injection
Published Aug 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 23, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Computer and Laptop Store 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via a crafted order ID. The pay_order handler in classes/Master.php incorporates the POST id value into an SQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling error-based queries. A valid session is required; the demonstrated updatexml payload discloses the database name through an error response, while broader database effects depend on privileges.
