Unauthenticated SQL injection via login username
Published Aug 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 23, 2024
SQL injection in login.php in itsourcecode.com Payroll Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access the database via the username field. The login flow passes the POST username value directly into a SQL query without cleaning or validation, permitting time-based blind query manipulation. No authentication is required; the published proof of concept induces a MySQL SLEEP delay, demonstrating query control and database exposure.
