CVE-2024-8072Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated command history disclosure via terminal WebSocket

Published Aug 22, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2024

Information disclosure in Mage AI 0.9.73 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary users' terminal command history. The /websocket/terminal endpoint accepts an attacker-controlled term_name containing a user identifier and returns that terminal session's history without authorization. No credentials or user interaction are required, and disclosed history can expose commands entered by other users.
