CVE-2024-8066Network attack vector

Authenticated arbitrary file upload via fsConnector validation gap

Published Nov 28, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Unrestricted file upload in Ninja Team File Manager Pro – Filester 1.8.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write server files. The fsConnector function fails to validate uploaded file types, permitting a new .htaccess file that enables subsequent arbitrary uploads. Subscriber access and administrator-granted file-manager permission are required; code execution depends on the server processing a later upload.
