Code execution via insecure expression object injection
Published Oct 9, 2024 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Unsafe reflection in Progress Telerik Reporting before 18.2.24.924 allows attackers to execute code through insecure expression evaluation. The standalone Report Designer evaluates attacker-controlled expressions and permits object injection that selects classes or code. Exploitation requires user interaction in the Windows desktop designer; the processing engine and REST services are unaffected.
