Denial of service in affected GitLab CE/EE releases allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via a crafted GitHub import. The GitHub importer processes an attacker-controlled repository, but GitLab has not disclosed which operation consumes resources without an effective bound. Exposure requires permission to start a GitHub repository import; affected ranges are before 17.1.6, 17.2 through 17.2.3, and 17.3.0.
