Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 17, 2025
Path traversal in wpdevelop Secure Downloads before 1.2.3 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files. The update() function accepts traversal sequences in an administrator-supplied file path, allowing a generated download link to resolve outside the intended directory. Administrator access is required; exposed data can include WordPress configuration secrets and other files readable by the web server.
