Improper input validation in Rockwell Automation ThinManager ThinServer allows remote attackers to execute code as SYSTEM via arbitrary file upload. The ThinServer service accepts user-supplied data without sufficient validation and permits arbitrary files to be uploaded and overwrite existing files. Authentication and user interaction are not required; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code with SYSTEM privileges on affected Windows servers.
