UI spoofing via undisclosed Views implementation
Published Aug 21, 2024 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
Inappropriate implementation in Google Chrome Views before 128.0.6613.84 allows remote attackers to spoof browser UI via crafted HTML. Google identifies the affected locus only as Views and has not published which UI state or validation operation mishandles the page content. A user must open the crafted HTML page; the documented consequence is deceptive browser UI rather than code execution, data disclosure, or service interruption.
