Authenticated code execution via validation-bypass file upload
Published Aug 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 20, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in itsourcecode Laravel Property Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to deploy web shells. PropertiesController.php passes multipart fields to saveFiles(), which accepts an attacker-renamed file field outside UpdatePropertiesRequest's image rule. A low-privileged administrative session can store executable PHP content and run commands with the web server's privileges.
