Authenticated SQL injection via unneutralized map_id input
Published Aug 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 20, 2024
SQL injection in print.php in itsourcecode Project Expense Monitoring System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter SQL execution. The endpoint incorporates the map_id GET parameter into a database statement without neutralizing quote-delimited SQL, and the published proof of concept triggers MySQL errors or a five-second sleep. An authenticated session is required; the artifact demonstrates error- and time-based database control but does not establish operating-system command execution.
