Authenticated SQL injection via unneutralized id parameter
Published Aug 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 20, 2024
SQL injection in Online Graduate Tracer System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through a crafted id parameter. The view_csprofile.php admin endpoint accepts the POST id value without neutralizing SQL metacharacters, allowing it to alter the database query. Access requires a valid admin session, and the public proof of concept demonstrates error-based disclosure of the active database name.
