Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized medicine_id
Published Aug 19, 2024 · Updated Sep 3, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Clinic's Patient Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The get_packings.php endpoint inserts the attacker-controlled medicine_id query parameter directly into an SQL statement without validation or parameterization. A valid application session is required, and crafted requests can disclose sensitive records held in the server database.
