Command injection in D-Link DNS and DNR storage appliances allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through myMusic.cgi. Multiple myMusic.cgi handlers incorporate crafted playlist or track request values into shell commands without neutralizing command syntax. Low-privileged web access reaches the flaw, and successful exploitation runs commands with the CGI process privileges on unsupported appliances.
