Unauthenticated SQL query manipulation via lname parameter
Published Aug 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 19, 2024
SQL injection in itsourcecode.com Billing System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access its database through a crafted client form. The addclient1.php handler inserts the POST lname value directly into an SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding. No login or authorization is required; the demonstrated consequence is a database timing oracle, while further read or write access depends on database privileges.
