Authenticated code execution via extension-filter bypass
Published Aug 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 19, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in DedeBIZ 6.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through the file manager. The admin/file_manage_control.php handler accepts upfile1 uploads whose names use unblocked .phtml or .htaccess extensions, while a GIF89a header bypasses its image-content check. A low-privileged authenticated session with file-manager access is required; uploaded PHP code then runs in the web server context.
