Authenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Aug 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 19, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in DedeBIZ 6.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code through admin/media_add.php. The handler's extension filtering does not block phtml or .htaccess files and accepts a GIF89a-prefixed payload, then stores it under a randomized name. An authenticated administrative session is required; a crafted upload can place executable PHP content on the web server and provide arbitrary code execution.
