Application crash via malformed JPEG stream

Uninitialized variable use in Xpdf 4.05 and earlier allows local users to crash the application through a malformed JPEG stream. Invalid header data in a PDF DCT stream leaves a DCT decoder variable uninitialized, leading the decoder to read an invalid address. Exploitation requires local processing of a crafted PDF and causes a segmentation fault that interrupts only the affected Xpdf process.
