Contributor-level database disclosure via unprepared model_number query
Published Aug 20, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in WP EasyCart 5.7.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with Contributor access to read database data. The product lookup path inserts the user-supplied model_number parameter into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or preparation. Contributor-level WordPress access is required, and successful boolean-based injection exposes sensitive database information.
