Authenticated SQL injection via delete_product id parameter
Published Aug 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 15, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Simple Online Bidding System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data. The delete_product action in bidding/admin/ajax.php incorporates the POST id value into a database query without parameterization, enabling error-based extraction through updatexml. An administrator session is required to reach the product-deletion action, and injected SQL can disclose database names or modify application data.
