CVE-2024-7795

Unauthenticated code execution via BLE stack overflow

Published Aug 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 22, 2024

Stack-based buffer overflow in Autel MaxiCharger AC Elite Business C50 1.32.00 allows attackers to execute code via adjacent BLE. The AppAuthenExchangeRandomNum command accepts a user-controlled length and copies that data into a fixed-length stack buffer without validating the size. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation runs arbitrary code in the charger device context.
