Authenticated SQL injection via concatenated task parameter
Published Aug 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 14, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Task Progress Tracker 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL via the task parameter. The delete-task.php endpoint directly concatenates the unvalidated task value into a database statement, allowing crafted input to alter the query. A low-privileged web session is required, and successful exploitation can read or modify database data and interrupt the application.
